In trying, you might use terms such as ‘I see everything in a different light now,’ or ‘it feels as if I have woken up.’ Looking for an explanation for this experience may have led you to such terms like ‘enlightenment,’ ‘holy spirit,’ or ‘energy.’ You are probably searching for the words to describe your phenomenal and beautiful experience; to explain it; to understand.This book is not about religion. It does not condone fundamentalism or extremism.This book is concerned with helping you through the aftermath of your ‘awakening.’ The reason I have written this is because I have had firsthand experience of such an occurence. At the time I had no context or language to describe my experience. My religious upbringing could not explain it. I spent five years searching for the tools to help me live the life to which I felt I was being called; meeting (sometimes) the challenges of living life with new awareness and different eyes. I read many self-help books, took many courses, and investigated many different healing therapies. I have distilled the most useful of my experiences and learning into this book.This is intended as a guide for the newly awakened. It is not the guide, nor is it comprehensively extensive in the areas it covers.
